About PlasmaOx Technologies

A Saudi deep-tech company building the region's reference platform for advanced surface engineering.

We turn corrosion, wear and biofouling from a recurring cost into a one-time, engineered solution — starting with the Kingdom's energy, water and advanced-manufacturing sectors.

PlasmaOx Technologies is a Saudi-based advanced surface engineering company. Corrosion alone destroys roughly US$2.5 trillion of value globally each year — about 3% of world GDP — and unprotected components in seawater and humid service can last three to five times less than they should. These are not aerospace-only problems: they hit desalination plants, oil & gas assets, marine fleets and factories across Saudi Arabia every day. PlasmaOx is a surface-engineering platform — not a single coating service — combining Core PEO, Hybrid PEO and Smart Surfaces for additively manufactured and next-generation light alloys. Our proprietary electrolyte formulations and alloy-specific process recipes, protected by patents and trade secrets, are what make the platform defensible.

Our Vision

To become Saudi Arabia's reference company for advanced surface engineering — not simply the region's first PEO coating vendor.

Our Mission

We build and operate our own PEO coating lines and grow through a focused beachhead: seawater-exposed rotating equipment in desalination and oil & gas. We pilot on real components with design-partner operators, secure third-party certification of performance, convert pilots into supply agreements, and then scale the platform into aerospace, defence and construction. Even on a fully-loaded cost basis — labour, quality control, chemicals, depreciation, certification and logistics, not electricity alone — our margins remain attractive versus imported coating alternatives.

Aligned with Saudi Vision 2030

PlasmaOx answers a national industrial demand pull, not a technology looking for a market. Energy and water giants such as Aramco, SWCC and ACWA Power operate thousands of assets exposed to corrosion and biofouling; the green-hydrogen build-out needs corrosion-resistant, lightweight components from day one; and Vision 2030 and the NIDLP are actively localising advanced manufacturing to reduce import dependence on surface treatment. Yet there is currently no Saudi-based advanced surface-engineering platform serving these sectors at scale. We size the problem markets we solve — asset-protection spend across desalination, oil & gas, marine and aerospace in MENA — rather than the coating-equipment market, and target a serviceable share through pilot lines and first-mover contracts in the Kingdom.
